Mohammad Reza Malali

  • I am Mohammad Reza Malali, born in Isfahan. I currently live in Tehran. As a child, I grew up with Islamic motifs and tile designs in Isfahan, and I have been fascinated by flower and chicken designs ever since. My acquaintance with the art of engraving was as a teenager, at that time I was looking to learn a profession until I met engraving masters in Isfahan Bazaar. Although I did not have any mentality about this art, but I got a very good feeling from doing it, and this good feeling made this art an inseparable member of me since 2001. I apprenticed in engraving for 3 years and gradually became a professional in this art. Most of my works are based on Islamic motifs of flowers and chickens and paintings of the Safavid period, which are inspired by the historical monuments of Isfahan. Due to my great interest in traditional music and playing the reed instrument, I named the brand Negar Khaneh Neystan, which indicates that I am inspired by Iranian traditional music. Due to my great interest in Iranian luxury stories, I benefited a lot from their designers. And because of the quality, design and subject matter of the work was highly regarded.
